Through the red, blue, green and yellow BART lines, Powell Street Station can get you to San Francisco Airport as well as Oakland, Fremont and Richmond. Powell Street also lies along three cable car lines: the Powell/Mason line, the California line and the Powell/Hyde line. In addition, the Powell/Mason line runs north-south up to North Point and down to Market Street; the California line runs east-west from the city's east shore down California Street and the Powell/Hyde line takes you up to the Aquatic Park and Fisherman's Wharf and down to Market Street. The MUNI metro system shares many of the same routes as BART with both subways and streetcars, adding to the convenience.
